The answer to the facebook question was: YES, I DID RIDE! However, because of my previous two days of hot long rides, I choose to ride a bit flatter route slow and easy. I did my Old Wethersfield ride of about 20 miles at 13.3 mph. I tried to keep my heart rate max under 140 and avgHR at or around 110. This would enable me an "Active" recovery day on the bike. Doing this my legs felt great until I was pushing my HR into the 130's, then they were tired. Tomorrow is going to be a rainy day, or storms, and I will be going to RI, so most likely tomorrow will be an full rest day for me. Doing around 100 miles this week in the heat, they need it.
I am going to relax now and watch the TDF on Versus till 11:30, and then go to the gym to soak and stretch in the hot tub. Then off to Sears to buy my brother a B-Day present: Ping Pong Table. This is somewhat selfish, as I love to play, and he has the perfect place for it.
